When you deploy a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central instance you may have seen a first time Dynamics 365 Business Central Trial Experience popup that also has the option of clicking into a Role Center Overview popup. This happens at the initial navigation to the home dashboard when first running Dynamics 365 Business Central (which is also called the Role Center) Here is how the Dynamics 365 Business Central Trial Experience Popup looks like.

When you click on “Role Centers” to the right in the Trial Experience Popup, you are taken to a Role Center Overview popup. Here is how the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Role Centers Overview popup looks like.

In some cases, such as for your own initial exploration of the Dynamics 365 Business Central product, the Role Center Overview can be particularly useful. So then, what happens when you close this popup? How in the world do you ever access this popup again? Do you have to create a new company every time to get the Trial Experience popup to appear again, only to be yet again unable to ever get the popup to appear again?

Great news. The Dynamics 365 Business Central Trial Experience Popup (and therefore, the Dynamics 365 Business Central Role Center Overview popup) can be made to appear again at any time. Here is how you do it.

First, go to the home dashboard, also known as the Role Center. Here is how the Role Center should look like by default for the CRONUS USA company that Dynamics 365 Business Central comes with set at the default role of “Business Manager.”

Next, look for the tile called “Replay Getting Started” that should have a “play” icon on it, and then click it (scroll down if necessary). Here is an example of how it should look like.

And here is how the tile by itself looks like:

When you click on the tile, the Trial Experience popup should appear again immediately. Good for you! Now that should help a lot!

Because of this, some training topics related to Human resources overlap with Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations Training – in topics that are primarily related to Talent, the Dynamics 365 for Talent training might be the one that covers it but Dynamics 365 for Finance Operations Training may also cover certain overlapping functionality in some modules.
